Intermediate Membership Options 

Intermediate Memberships are for children of regular Members who are joining the Club under their own name. At the age of 26, dependants are removed from their parents’ or guardians’ membership. At this time they are given the opportunity to rejoin the Club at a reduced rate. For Intermediate Membership options, please email the Membership Department.

Application Process

How To Apply

Hollyburn is now on a waitlist for Membership. If you are interested in applying and being added to our waitlist, please reach out to the Membership Department. Feel free to review our New Membership Package.
 

Plan Ahead

Hollyburn’s membership application takes 70-90 days to complete from the time an application is submitted with additional wait times for waitlisted applications. After a 30-day posting period your membership request will be taken to the Membership Committee and Board of Directors for approval. Please note, applicants do not have access to Club facilities until their application has been approved.

There is not a week that goes by that John and I do not comment on how our membership at Hollyburn was one of the best investments we have ever made for our family.

We feel very welcome at the club because of the great energy from the staff and the atmosphere created by the members. It is so nice to be in an environment with our family where our children feel safe and comfortable. The level of coaching in all of the sports that we have participated in has been top notch. The staff are always eager to listen to suggestions and to work with members on improving programing for their families.

The club is a place where we can go at any time and feel welcome. On a social level the events are always fun and well attended and the Restaurant does a great job with their menus and special events. Membership FAQ

What is the current entrance fee?
$70,000 plus applicable taxes.
Is there a waiting list at this time?
Yes. Please contact the Membership department for an update on our waitlist status.
Is the entrance fee refundable or transferable?
No, the entrance fee is non-refundable after admission as a Club Member, and Hollyburn memberships are not transferable.
Can Members bring guests to the Club?
Yes, Member guests are welcome at Hollyburn. Members are permitted to bring a maximum of two participating adult guests per month; and no guest may frequent the Club more than twice per month. Guest fees are applicable if guests participate in an activity during their visit.
What is the difference between a Regular Membership and a Corporate Membership?
There are no financial differences between a Regular and Corporate membership. Families applying for a Corporate Membership should be aware that their children will not be eligible for an Intermediate Membership when they are removed from their guardians’ account at age 26. Additional information pertaining to Corporate Memberships can be provided upon request.
Can a nanny/caregiver be added to a family’s membership?

Yes, a nanny/caregiver can be added to a family’s membership for an additional fee. The nanny/caregiver would not have access to the Club’s facilities for their own use, but could accompany a child under 7 years old into the swimming pool in the absence of the child’s parent.

How long does the application process take?
Hollyburn’s application process takes approximately three months to complete. After an applicant’s name has been posted for 30 days their application is taken to the Membership Committee and Board of Directors for approval. Club usage is not permitted during the application process. Please note, this timeline does not included applicable wait times.
What are Intermediate Memberships?
Intermediate Memberships are for children of Regular Members who are joining the Club under their own name. At the age of 26, dependents are removed from their parents’ Hollyburn membership. What Club privileges and services are included in Members’ monthly dues?

As a regular Member, monthly dues include the basic usage of the Club’s facilities. Surcharges apply for programming, lessons, services, food and beverage. Note, monthly dues and Club privileges differ depending on the type of membership a Member holds.

Does Hollyburn have a minimum food and beverage charge?
No, Hollyburn does not have a minimum food and beverage charge. Members are welcome to dine at their convenience without any mandatory spending requirements.
